Hatha & Vinyasa 200hr Teacher Training
Pankaj Yogpeeth is a transformational, life-changing experience. Whether you are just starting out on your journey to becoming a teacher, seeking to enhance your teaching skills or wishing to develop your personal practice, Pankaj Yogpeeth will provide you all the necessary tools to grow and teach confidently.
In this unique program, Pankaj Yogapeeth and I, combine traditional and contemporary methods, which will help you understand the roots of the practice and applying them to modern life.
Even if teaching is not your goal, we know that you would love to expand your practice and embrace a yoga lifestyle.
This four weeks program is designed for you to develop your personal practice to be able to create your own routine, as well as being able to teach others in a safe manner.
You will be taking 7 classes a day, including Asana, Pranayama, Philosophy, Alignment, Teaching Methodology, Mudras, Workshops & Meditation.
5.45 AM - MORNING AYURVEDIC TEA
6.15 AM - HATHA YOGA
90-minute yoga class. We will work on strength, endurance and flexibility of the body and mind, according to the Hatha Yoga tradition.
8 AM - PRANAYAMA
60-minute class. We will work on different breathing techniques.
9 AM BREAKFAST
Every day we’ll have a buffet yogi breakfast, accompanied by tea.
10.30 AM YOGA PHILOSOPHY
60-minute class. We'll learn about the history and origin of yoga, the eight limbs of ashtanga yoga, the three states of consciousness in yogis science, the five bodies of yogis science, and much more.
12 PM ALIGNMENT/TEACHING METHODOLOGY/SEQUENCING
60-minute class. We will learn how to confidently adjust and align a student, verbally, and physically. We will also deepen our understanding of certain areas of the body in specific workshops, such as hip opening, backward bend, forward bend, twists, and arm balances.
1 PM LUNCH
Every day we’ll have a buffet yogi lunch, accompanied by tea and water.
3.15 PM MUDRAS/AYURVEDA PRINCIPALS/CHAIR YOGA/MARKETING
60-minute class. This is an open class and we will be covering different subjects as we go along the course. Some of those will be mudras, Ayurveda Principals, Chair Yoga, Marketing.
4.30 PM VINYASA YOGA
The word Vinyasa means the connection between postures through the breath. We will work dynamically on a set sequence which will be developing as we go through the training.
6.15 PM YOGA NIDRA/MEDITATION
60-minute class. During this class, we will go through different meditation techniques, such as tratak, walking meditation, chakra awareness, breath awareness & Yoga Nidra
7.15 PM DINNER
Every day we’ll have a buffet yogi dinner, accompanied by tea and water.
We will be staying at Infinity Resort in Pokhara, with stunning views of the Himalayan mountains and walking distance from the lake.
I have the pleasure to be teaching together with my guru, mentor and friend Pankaj Sadana (Yoga Teacher), as well as the Kavitha Hangargi (Pranayama & Meditation) and Swami Taponidhi (Philosophy Teacher).
